Due to current political events and lots of reflection time, lockdown has had me thinking about identity and my place within Britain. This is my first venture in to the digital world and I wanted to make a short 5 minute film exploring identity within my own family. Hope you enjoy the result!

Film Premiere - ‘23’ Days’ by Manjinder Virk, starring Sohail Anjum.

  • Description: Over 570,000 people died due to Covid-19. The dangers of this life-threatening virus are not over. Manjinder Virk directs this short film which informs the viewer how horrific Covid-19 can truly be. The film stars Sohail Anjum who is still recovering to life after Corona virus.

Film Premiere-  'The God of Small Things: Visions of Kerala’, with reading excerpts by Maya Biddulph and Alice Tucker

  • Description: Delve into images and literature of Kerala, India, featuring a reading of fragments of Indian author Arundhati Roy’s marvellous novel, The God of Small Things (Chapter 1). Brought to life through a mixture of original footage, animation and stills, this film illustrates the ordinary and extraordinary landscapes and culture in which Roy’s touching and beautiful story takes place. Suitable for all; an introduction to this must-read novel. Join the creators for a Q&A after the screening.
