Force of Nature

Summer events inspired by nature at Manchester Museum

Get close to nature and explore our collections this summer with free, family activities with Manchester Museum.

From fascinating fossils, to up close and personal encounters with Stan the T.rex and immersive sound installations, our summer season is bursting with nature in all its glory. With a collection of over 4.5 million objects and 3 floors of displays and exhibitions, there’s something for everyone this summer.

The museum is open Wednesday to Sunday, from 10am-5pm every week during the summer holidays until Sunday 29 August. On Wednesday and Fridays priority tickets are available between 10-11am for those who need to visit at a quieter time.

Whether you’re a first time visitor or an old friend, we can’t wait to welcome you, onsite and online.

Tickets to events and activities are available via Eventbrite.

Entry to the museum and all of our events is free, spaces are limited so booking is essential.

Please ensure you check whether the event you're booking is in the museum or online!

Please note, due to the ongoing Covid situation, in-person events may need to change to online events at short notice.
